Dr. Myriam El Gaaloul is a PharmD with over 20 years of experience in drug development, spanning from first-in-human studies to post-approval. She has deep expertise in clinical trials, clinical pharmacology, regulatory affairs, and modeling, and has led early-phase programs and clinical development strategies across diverse therapeutic areas in both pharmaceutical and non-profit organizations.
As Head of Clinical and Regulatory Sciences at MMV, she designs and oversees clinical strategies to generate robust data, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and scientific best practices in collaboration with cross-functional teams and partners. She also co-leads the Malaria in Mothers and Babies (MiMBa) initiative, which aims to accelerate the discovery, development, and delivery of appropriate antimalarial options for women of reproductive potential, including those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
